Posted July 22nd, 2011 by Mark RomerIsn't it interesting that "danger" and "anger" do not rhyme? You look at "danger", and the g is soft, tentative, afraid almost. Then you rip away the "d" and the "g" gets mad and hardens, and you get "anger".
Why You Should Not Throw Things Away
Posted December 6th, 2007 by Mark RomerEver since we moved into our new house back in February, I've had this desire to go through all our stuff and get rid of everything we don't really use. We didn't do this before moving because it was just easier to pack it all and put it in storage--you don't have to think as much that way, and the move was stressful enough as it was. Now that we've more or less settled in, I've really wanted to clear all the clutter out and give it away. I haven't actually done it, of course--that would require making an effort. read more »
Where Do They Find the Time?

My friend and choirmate Mrs. T., for example posted This article about parsnips. Parsnips! I can't find time to write about big things, and she can write about parsnips! And it's not like she's got a lot of free time, either. She's a homeschooling mother of four who also teaches high-school level english in a homeschooling co-op. read more »
What's Another Word for Thesaurus?
