Straight No Chaser Choral Group
Posted December 10th, 2007 by Mark RomerIt's hard to call this a medley, since it seems so jumbled. Whatever it is, it's really good. A lot of hard work and practice went into making this hodge-podge of Christmas songs (plus one Chanukah song).
First Regular Season Game
Posted November 29th, 2007 by Mark RomerPaul's basketball team had its first non-tournament game tonight. I took Michael with me to take Paul to the game. I had earlier suggested to Kathy that she take Joanna for a "girls night out". They went to the theater to see "Enchanted". Apparently, they both liked it a lot, although Joanna could have done without the dragon and Kathy could have done without the singing cockroaches.
Anyway, back to the game. Michael did pretty well for most of the game. I only had to dash out about five times to stop him from running out onto the court. He thoroughly enjoyed himself, as evidenced by this short video I captured of him.
Break Dance
Posted August 24th, 2007 by Mark RomerNothing like a little dancing to get your blood pumping.
This guy's got some serious arms on him. He's a wee bit flexible, too.
What a Wonderful World
Posted August 24th, 2007 by Mark RomerShadow puppets sing "What a Wonderful World". Must be seen to be believed.
I had no idea you could do some of these things with shadow puppets. The baby hand effect is incredible!

A Baby Fights Sleep

Britains Got Talent - A Star Is Born
Posted June 12th, 2007 by Mark RomerIf you have not seen this, you really should. Paul Potts, a mobile phone salesman, came to the show "Britain's Got Talent" to sing opera, and he blew them away! Don't judge by appearances.
